EMOM means every minute on the minute. A new work interval starts at the beginning of each minute. The athlete completes the assigned work, then rests for the remaining of that minute. At the next minute mark, the next interval begins whether the athlete feels ready or not.

AMRAP Workouts Explained: Meaning, Scoring, and Pacing

AMRAP means As Many Repetitions As Possible within a fixed amount of time. The clock is fixed, the goal is to do as much work as possible in that time. A valid AMRAP score records complete repetitions, or rounds plus the repetitions completed in the next round, such as 8 rounds + 17 reps.
